Charles Sternaimolo is a graduate of Fitchburg State College where he studied under the renowned photographer Peter Laytin. Currently working as a Photo Correspondent and collaborating with New England architectural photographers, Charles looks forward to expanding the scope of his projects both professionally and personally. Born and raised viewing the New York skyline, Charles moved to Massachusetts in search of its treasured historical towns. It is this love of traditional New England that led Charles to his current personal project; a visual comparison of Edward Hopper’s painted locations, many of which were undiscovered until now. An edited version of this project has been exhibited at Cape Cod’s Highland Light Museum during the summer of 2010, at the Truro Public Library in October 2010, and presented at the annual ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) Personal Projects event in December 2010.

“Charles Sternaimolo:  A Photographic Journey Through Edward Hopper’s World” will be exhibited from January 1, 2011 through March 27, 2011 at the Edward Hopper Art Center, Nyack, NY.
